Haslett vs. Redskins Player

I watched the game in a noisy bar, so I have no idea what may of been said by the play-by-play guys...

What happened when one of the Skins players was yappin at Haslett and Haz yappin back? Then *I think* Orlando Pace came between them and shoved the skins player out of the way.

What happened there? Anyone know?

Unfortunately, the announcer's didn't know or didn't enlighten the viewer on what that was all about. I saw the broadcast on nfl sunday ticket thru Fox, but it only showed a brief portion of the fracas and never said anything of what it was about.

I don't know what was said but there was some serious yappin going on and actually Haslett gave the guy a shove before Pace did. I think Haslett could have gave the Redskin player a good whoopin, I hear Chuck Norris won't even mess with him.

Leigh Torrence is the player. He said he wasn't jawing with just Haslett, but all the players. He is actually a very classy player and highly involved in the community. Must have been something very big for Torrence to open his mouth.

"Basically what happened was, he is a flyer on their punt team and I was
in the white area, so I backed out of the white and then I saw he was
getting a little closer so I backed out of the white area and I could
not get any further back, when we jammed him out of bounds. So he
decided he was going to run the side lines and he is supposed to run the
white, he can't run behind the bench. So he was coming at me so I
figured it was me or him. He was going to run me over or I was going to
get him, so I got a good shot on him. I did not want to get run over.
You see those coaches that get toppled, it was not going to be me."

I use to hate Haslett when he coach the saint, but I love his never back down attitude ,maybe the players will see they have a coach that will never say die and will continued to respond.

Ok...so Why didn't the Refs toss the flag? Its a penalty for players or staff to cross onto the field or to interact with players on the field. They tossed a flag on Incog. for running his mouth off at the refs.

Because they thought it was a penalty enough for getting schooled by a coach. I simply love Haslett for saying that he put a hit on him. That's awesome.

Oh, and it looks like 95 coming to Haslett's defense, Clifton Ryan. Pace's 76 is most definitely not in the picture.
