    Re: Haslett vs. Redskins Player

This is one very good reason to back haslett. never back down, never surrender. i wasnt a haslett fan when he was with the saints or when he was our DC, but i think he is doing a damn good job as head coach, he is bringing the fire. the players respect him and he will fight back. i am really liking him right now and am glad he is our coach right now. how many coaches do you see fighting back with an opponent in uniform ready to kick there a**. i love it.

Exactly Tampa. Haslett said he didn't want to "be one of those coaches"... ok, fine, step out of the way or something, that'd be fine... "so I got a good hit on him". That's just awesome in my book.

Anytime from now on when someone whiffs a tackle or doesn't make a good hit, the other guys definitely need to bust his chops by says than that coach could put a better hit on the guy.

Like others, I wasn't a fan of Hasletts until now. Funny what a win will do. Hope he can keep it up.

Hey guys, Guess who was covering Avery on his final 40+ yard catch to put us in position to win the game?

    Leigh Torrence.

Holy crap is Avery's eyes closed? DID HE JUST CATCH THAT 40 YARDER WITH HIS EYES CLOSED?

Eyes closed and one handed. He also decided to leave his feet for some extra drama. It's all about the showmanship.

Agreed... Haslett inspired the team. I never saw Scott Linehan with that emotion...
