Have We Learned A Lesson?
As I was with the Jets game, I am worried about Sunday's game with Arizona. Like the Jets, Arizona is a desperate football team. Having lost 6 in a row after a 4-0 start, I'm sure Arizona feels they have a great chance at home of beating the Rams and avenging their loss earlier this season. I am less than thrilled with the timing of this contest. The Rams are ripe for another loss.
Like NY, Arizona is offensively challenged. Also like NY, they have issues at the QB position. They are also better defensively than NY, who looked like the '85 Bears against our offense last Sunday, so concern is warranted.
Have we learned any lessons from last Sunday's disaster? Will Bradford rebound from a terrible performance? Can we avoid game-killing mistakes which have destroyed long plays and/or scoring opportunities the past two games? Will Jeff Fisher look like the solid football coach he is or an impostor? Will our defense pick up its performance?
One of the common themes I've seen expressed is that "we are a young football team, making young mistakes". Fair enough. But young teams who are getting the message get better, not worse. Young teams show weekly improvement. Young teams reduce their penalties throughout the season. These next 6 games will provide a much clearer picture about a lot of things concerning our football team.

Re: Have We Learned A Lesson?
I always felt the Rams would be playing better football as the season progressed. I expect to see that tomorrow. I still expect to see a blossoming Ram team as the season comes into the final quarter.

Have We Learned A Lesson?
I learned my lesson alright! That lesson being not to start Bradford in fantasy football no matter how juicy the matchup is.

Re: Have We Learned A Lesson?
I hope Fisher learned his lesson and has the team ready, because I agree with you NJ, if the Rams don't take care of business, this could easily be another loss.
This game is big on a number of levels, and could very well define the rest of the season. Do the Rams want to move forward, or continue the downward spiral?

Re: Have We Learned A Lesson?
The lesson is one we learned long ago...the Rams are a BAD football team. Not much has changed. Wins only hurt the draft position at this point. Frankly, I don't expect many more of them anyhow. Even with the extra picks, it does not look like there are real explosive/difference making players on the NCAA horizon...at least not offensive ones. Looks like the Rams will have to purchase a go-to play maker (FA) or 2 at WR...or this team will be awful for YEARS to come.

Re: Have We Learned A Lesson?
So, once it has been determined (Mathematically or in your head?) that the Rams cannot finish with a play-of spot then they should fold up the tents and lose out?
Or does this apply if they have no shot at the Super Bowl?
Exactly when does someone give up?
Since we also know a good percentage of 1st round players don't pan out are we positioning for 2nd or 3rd round draft picks?
I mean any win hurts one's draft position, so why win at all?
(walking away shaking his head....)RnD
GO RAMS!!

The Rams need to learn to win, EVERY CHANCE THEY GET.

Re: Have We Learned A Lesson?
Well let's see, eight straight losing seasons and we are still Rams fans?
If we have not learned a lessen by now I'm not sure we ever will.
In fact; one could likely make a good case that we all are insane!
