Have you noticed how much I hate Steven Jackson?

Man, I really hate Steven Jackson. Not sure why. Maybe he ignored me when I wanted a quote. Maybe I just don't like dreadlocks. Not sure. Still, I can't help myself. I just feel compelled to write things like this:

so far Jackson has done his finest and hardest running in commercials.

I know, I know. That was supposed to be an article about Linehan. But I just felt the need to take a shot at Jackson. You should read my Pressbox message board too. Man, I'm really letting Jackson have it there. For example:

Jackson ought to quit missing his blitz pick-up assignments before he starts criticizing anyone else at Rams Park.

Oooh! Burned him there! How about this one?

Jackson would have more sympathy from me if he actually ran hard all of the time. He doesn't.

Isn't it great how I just ignore the fact that Jackson lead the NFL in total yards last year and how he's played 2 games this year with a decimated O line? What do I care! I'll just bash him anyway! Who's gonna stop me? Hahahahaha!

Truth is, since I get to write my drivel for public consumption, I can just gloss over anything I want. I'll just keep repeating inane comments about Jackson's commercial success. In fact, I started that a couple of weeks ago with this one:

Perhaps Jackson will better understand that to be considered great, you have to do more than have one big season. You have to do more than promote yourself.

Alright, I'll tell you all the truth, here's a quote that reveals why I really hate Jackson:

I don't condone Jacksons shots at Faulk. I think they may have been a little warranted actually but I still think they were unnecessary. But I don't see how you even come close to having the right to take shots back at Jackson. I'd love to see you try and pick up a Patrick Willis blitz.
