Here is a new name to our head coaching candidates....
No i didn hear any analysts or anyone say his name for the rams or any other team this is based on my pure speculation:
Tom Cable
He is currently the Offensive line coach/ assistant head coach under Pete Carrol in Seattle. He is a former head coach with the raiders...His head coaching career was not a huge success but it showed plenty of promise he took over for lane kiffin and went 9-19 his first 2 years but improved the Raiders to 8-8 before Al Davis (rip) wanted hue jackson as his coach.
Cable is a no nonsense guy...coaches a physical style play...It was also reported he punched one of his assistants in the face if mcdaniels is still the O-coordinator he better learn to duck...
Look at the O-line Saffold, Smith, Dahl these three have not reached their full potential let Cable coach them into a physical style of blocking...Just imagine if Jason Smith reaches his ceiling with that nasty demeanor.
The only thing is with Cable we need good coordinators around him...i dont think he called the plays in oakland so we should keep McD (sorry i dont want to change the playbook again for sam) and we need a good D-coordinator.

No freakin' way. I don't want a coach who breaks an assistant's jaw and then pressures the witnesses to deny they saw what happened.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Nope, I'm sure our O-line will start committing more penalties if he was our HC.

actually i did not notice that...he finished with a 8-8 record and there o-line opened up plenty of holes for the running game and this season Lynch is surging because seattle's cable influenced O-line is playing well. They have nearly the same injuries up front as us but they are playing way better than us with less talent at QB, RB and we have Lloyd who is better than any of there receivers
i dont why people are against a hard nosed personality after having spags soft stlye get us 10 wins in 3 years

If Cable were a great candidate he would have a job as one right now. None of the teams that needed a coach and interviewed him wanted to touch that and a team as bad as the Rams wouldn't do well with a criminal like him at the helm.I say get Chucky.

Being a hard ass doesn't make you a good head coach.

Spags is a little to passive. At least that's what I've seen. How is he in the locker room? Only the team knows that. However Cable is over the top. We need a guy somewhere in between Spags and Cable.
