Interesting Seattles Mike Holmgren was #1 on the list with 8 million.
Spags 2.875 mil would have been 20th out of the 32 NFL HC's on the list. Scott Linehan made 2 million this year. I think that it is a good signing Atlantas Mike Smith and Miamis Tony Sparano made 3 mil each in their first year as HC.

Oh please, it bothers me because he's never won anything. When the team made it to the Superbowl, it was because of Ron Rivera's defense. Look at what's happened to them since Rivera was fired by lovie because he didn't run the Cover 2 enough. smith was a hack DC who was living off the success that Monty Kiffin had in Tampa. He softened up the Rams defense and replaced a lot of good players because they weren't "lovie-type players" and replaced them with fast guys that couldn't play. Do I think Holgrem deservered to be paid that much? No, but at least he's won a Superbowl. smith is 45-35 in 5 seasons with the Bears and has only made the playoffs twice.Quote:
