“I’ve never been caught before by a QB in my whole life. I think my biggest thing was after 35, 40 yards, my legs were gone. I looked back and I was like, ‘Oh no, he’s still running at me.’ So I was like, ‘I need to get the hell out of bounds.’ ”Last edited by Trevor; -12-13-2010 at 11:50 AM.

Re: Here is what Roman Harper said about running out of bounds
Bradford might not have had his best game throwing the football, but that play (which didn't even count) is one every fan will remember from his rookie year.
Remember when Matt Stafford got injured for the Lions at the end of their game against the Browns last year, but then came back in to throw the winning TD? It's a play like that. When everyone can say this guy has what it takes to be an NFL QB.
And after running almost 70 yards down field, chasing down a DB, he goes back up to the goal line to score on a QB sneak? While the DB is on the side getting oxygen? Ridiculous. Ladies and gentleman, we have our franchise QB.

Re: Here is what Roman Harper said about running out of bounds
I will always remember that play, I tuned in the game late and it was the play where Jackson fumbled the ball. When I saw Bradford chasing him down I was amazed at his dedication to not let him get the TD. Even though they were down a bunch he still tried to prevent them from scoring again.

This is why you never quit on a play, which the great ones never do. I'm sure Bradford's legs were going too, but he gutted it out and made the play. Bradford continues to amaze. Is there any other QB in the league you would want to build your team around? Seriously.

The kid has all the tool's to be a star QB, and he has also shown me he's tough. Which was a question mark.(shoulder) He has a good future in the game, no doubt about it. Yesterday was a crucial lesson for him.
I see him coming out all guns blazing at the ED.Last edited by GROUND DOG 39; -12-13-2010 at 03:34 PM.

It would have been a great play even if he had not caught him.

I actually liked Bulger, but Bulger couldn't have done that. Nice job Bradford.

Re: Here is what Roman Harper said about running out of bounds
I'm pretty sure that Bradford was bigger than Harper... Wait, let me check.
Bradford - 6'4", 228 lbs
Harper - 6'1", 200 lbs
Yeah, I'd be scared if I was Harper. XD

This is the type of guy others follow unquestionably as the leader of a team. Outstanding hustle and leadership young man! I am so happy he is a Ram.

Gaaah! My sides are still hurting reading that. Laughed hard trying to read it to my wife. Gotta love Harper's humor.
BTW...read any Vikings message board and you'll REALLY APPRECIATE what we have.
AND, Sam's QB coach at Oklahoma, Josh Heupel, is doing wonders with Landry Jones (broke Sam's freshman passing records), who I feel will be a top Heisman contender next year. He threw for around 4,600 yards this year (sophomore). Heupel was just elevated to OC and will be a name to remember in coaching.Last edited by MACD; -12-14-2010 at 12:00 AM.
