Heres a couple stats I find interesting

I was taking a look at some of our stats from 2012 compared to 2011 and some of them surprised me

    Sacks
    Rams Opponents
    2012 52 35
    2011 39 55

That is a 13+ sack increase on defense and a -20 sack decrease on offense. Both of them improving quite a bit in one year under Fisher.

    Touchdowns

    Rams Opponents
    2012 32 37
    2011 18 45

Not quite where we want it to be yet but it is a +14 on offense and -6 on defense so going in the right direction

The most telling stat of all
    Receptions Yards
    2012 Danny Amendola 63 666

How could we keep someone with the mark of the beast lol.

Especially considering we had Barry Richardson starting on one side and a revolving door of Saffold - Hunter - Barksdale on the other side!

I'm hoping the Rams pick up at least two offensive lineman at draft, however, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we didn't draft any this year. Jake Long, Wells, Dahl, Saffold, are legit players when healthy. With the steady improvements shown above, Williams and Watkins could battle it out for LG.

La - I think it does too. The coaches definitely deserve some praise seeing as we had so many injuries on the line last year.

eric- I was thinking a couple in later rounds this year seeing as we have 4/5 starters in place on the line. But you are right they may not draft them at all and seeing what they did without scott wells and without jake long last year I cant wait to see what they can do with a decent line.

Wow just noticed who got those sacks and some surprised me where they were on the list. Especially Langford

    Fourth number is sack total

    Chris Long 33 25 8 11.5 0
    Robert Quinn 29 24 5 10.5 1
    William Hayes 35 29 6 7.0 0
    Jo-Lonn Dunbar 115 91 24 4.5 2
    Michael Brockers 31 20 11 4.0 1
    Eugene Sims 20 15 5 3.0 0
    Quintin Mikell 101 83 18 3.0 4
    Kendall Langford 27 18 9 2.0 0
    Mario Haggan 13 11 2 1.0 1
    Bradley Fletcher 28 23 5 1.0 1
    Rocky McIntosh 44 33 11 1.0 0
    Cortland Finnegan 101 83 18 1.0 1
    Jermelle Cudjo 21 20 1 1.0 0
    James Laurinaitis 142 117 25 0.5 0

Now they are in order its a little easier to see the big picture. Hayes is a surprise in 3rd place. Dunbars 4.5 sacks isnt to shabby either. Shame on langford though for having Sims and Mikell beat him in sacks.
