Here's a few little silver linings for everyone.
I mean we can't all be gloomy gusses about today......well, maybe we can, I wanted to puke. However, there are some things we did right.
1. Run Stopping - Barlow gained 22 yards on 14 carries for a 1.57 ypc. The whole team combined for 34 yards on 21 carries for a 1.62 ypc. That's outstanding in anybody's book!
2. Interior D Front 7 - Kennedy, Pickett, Claiborne, Chillar, and even D-Lew were gap fillers today. They fought through their blocks and stopped runners where they stood. It was very inspiring to see our interior that solid.
3. I'd love to say there is a 3, but honestly the above were the only 2 good things I could find in this cess pool of a game.

I believe we recovered 2 turnovers today. That's a step in the right direction!

Theo, come on, my man. There's 10,000 active threads about the negative aspects of the game. Don't rain on the ONE thread trying to find the positive parts of the game. Now dig down deep....surely you found something positive about this game.

Re: Here's a few little silver linings for everyone.
Our Run Defense was really stout. It surprised me. I will watch to see if they hold up against better teams. But, I think one couldn't help but be impressed with the Run D today.
That was the biggie from the game.

HUB, we can always count on you to get us pointed back in the right direction.
My positive note is that San Antonio didn't show the game till the Cowgirls were over and I got to see the last 2 minutes. I probably would have broke something if they aired the complete game...

Re: Here's a few little silver linings for everyone.
C'mon guys, the 9ers were the worst team last season and will be the worst team this season too. Yes we stopped (an inexistent) running game, yes we forced 2 turnovers (I wonder how many turnovers did the 9ers avg last season), special teams and trick plays killed us, like they killed us last year. Thank god Seattle and Arizona lost too. I do hope is a wake up call, but I thought last game against the falcons was our wake up call. GO RAMS, no more excuses!!!

0-1 Is 0-1, You Can Try To Put Positives On It,but That Doesnt Mean Anything,if We Are To Go Anywhere This Year, We Have To Beat The Teams We Are Suppose To Beat, And We Didnt Do That,"well We Stopped The Run " We Lost, Period.

to much time between the Falcons game to be a wake up call. But if this wasn't, well maybe we can fix that O-line with a #1 pick next year. The 9er's...I'm sick!:tut

Re: Here's a few little silver linings for everyone.
We should all keep in mnd that, last year, the Patriots dropped one on the road to a very poor Miami team. It didn't ruin their season. In fact, I believe they still won the Super Bowl.
Sometimes, teams lose to opponents they should probably beat. But that's why there are 16 games on the schedule and not won. All this game means right now is that we're not going 16-0. It doesn't mean we can't rally and use this loss as a call to arms for the rest of the season.
