Hill to be benched? As per RotoWorld
Rotoworld is reporting that Tye Hill will likely lose his starting CB to Ron Bartell ...
I've said it all along. Bartell will be the best CB of the bunch. He had a pretty solid game, including making some solid tackles ...

He ought to grab some pine after today. That said, Hill is probably least suited to playing in the slot of all our CBs.

I think they will move Manning to the slot. Hopefully the trio of Brown, Bartell and Manning will boost our secondary play as the season progresses.

Re: Hill to be benched? As per RotoWorld
I think you're right about Manning...which means Hill will end up being the fourth cornerback if this happens. B-U-S-T. Its disappointing.

Re: Hill to be benched? As per RotoWorld
I think Bartell was the lone bright spot in the secondary, ok not bright how about not-so-dull spot. But Hill needs some work, he can stick with his man but he just can find the ball in the air.
Hopefully Manning will have a good grip of the playbook by Sunday

Re: Hill to be benched? As per RotoWorld
Sigh... I think I owe someone an apology that is commiserate of the size of his namesake. Tx... you were correct all along, Tye certainly seems to be a bust and it was no more evident than in this game, which I didn't even see anything but highlights. The talk in the chat room was enough.
Hill didn't even look like a rookie this week, because he got owned by a rookie. His benching is well deserved. Now I can only hope that Manning comes alive in his second chance and Bartell is an effective starter.

Your corners are only as good as your pass rush, which we have none......

Re: Hill to be benched? As per RotoWorld
Yes we do need a better pass rush, but on the one play in the first quater, any other corner would have intercepted that ball.

That is sad alot of people thought this would be a pro bowler. Wow we took him over Antonio Cromartie.

Likely??? He already did. Hill moved to the nickel later in the game yesterday.Rotoworld is reporting that Tye Hill will likely lose his starting CB to Ron Bartell ..."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

I say we trade Hill for a position of need.
