Re: The History of the ClanRam
The Clanram has changed my life, totally. Anybody who has never been to a clan bash, try and make one, if only one and meet some of the clan. I spend my entire year desperete to get back!
Cheers Dez, without you, I doubt any of this would have happened. I have met many great friends, I am even playing and coaching with a team in the uk now (passed my first coaches badge 2 weeks ago).
KUDOS TO DEZ
LONG LIVE THE CLAN

Re: The History of the ClanRam
my fondest memory of ClanRam was before I was a moderator. Got into an argument with Dez of all people on the board. After that I became a moderator and at the time it was just Dez and Wraith.
Thanks Dezinator.

Kidding. We have some of the best Mod's any where. Willing to let the conversation go where it may, but not afraid to push the BRB (Big Red Button).

Re: The History of the ClanRam
Some people might wonder how I became a Mod.
Well, you see, back in 'Nam, I was separated from my unit during a fierce fire fight less than three miles from Cambodia. I took some shrapnel in my leg and had nearly given up hope. Just then, I heard a platoon coming over the ridge, and I thought I was done for. When they came into view, I noticed that the uniforms were somewhat unusual. I then realized it was a Scottish brigade lead by a young Captain named Dez.
He saved my life that day. The least I can do is help him run this website.

Re: The History of the ClanRam
Well, it obviously isn't because of your sense of humor!

Re: The History of the ClanRam
I'd been aware of this site for a while but struggled to get signed up for unknown technical reasons, I tried again recently and here I am.
This site is light years ahead of other Rams sites which appear poorly designed and seldom used.
Kudos to the creators and those who maintain this site.
I'm amazed to see so many UK based members, before attending the Giants - Dolphins game at Wembley in London, I had never before seen anyone else wearing a Rams jersey. I made a point of acknowledging the three that I saw, we seem a rare breed.
