Hmmm... maybe a high ankle sprain CAN impact a QB's performance.
Sincerely,
Ben Roethlisberger
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Big Ben's high ankle sprain had nothing to do with his reduced mobility, off-accuracy, sailing, weak passes, or distracted him from what was the rather simple task of orchestrating an NFL offense. Big Ben simply regressed in 11 days to a sub-par quarterback.
I hear that the Steelers might look to trade him and trade up for RG3 in the draft in April.I believe!

I was thinking the same thing but I'm what some fans call an "apologist" I'm always looking for excuses for players and my teams poor play.
I have not seen the post....look at so and so he's playing with a broken leg and a broken heart cuz his dog just died but he's winning games!!! Bradford has no heart, he just does not have it!!!Last edited by Rambos; -12-20-2011 at 12:59 PM.

I think we all saw the effects of a high ankle sprain last Monday night, and this only confirms it. Neither QB should have played in either game.

Bradford must have sprained his pretty early in the season.

Re: Hmmm... maybe a high ankle sprain CAN impact a QB's performance.
There are a lot of reasons for the Rams implosion this year. The reasons that you(correctly) stated could be used as an arguement for Spags as well. The point that I was sarcastically making was that some players like Chris Long and Darian Stewart were able to elevate their game this year while some stagnated or even regressed. I don't blame Bradford for the offenses problems but I don't think that he was totally innocent there either. Which brings up a good point, maybe for another thread. Aside from SJax, who was the offensive MVP this year?

And despite the injury, Roethlisberger was still 25-44 for 330 yards against a real good defense. I don't like him, but the guy is one tough SOB.

Re: Hmmm... maybe a high ankle sprain CAN impact a QB's performance.
Ain't that the truth. It's amazing what he has been able to do with things broken. I'm not sure which one of his injured performances is the most impressive, but the game against Baltimore where he started with a broken foot, then a few plays into the game, had his nose broken and moved a couple of inches to one side of his face, rates up there in gutsy displays of toughness. That said, he did his team no real favors by playing last night.
