Holt "begging out" of the game

This is per Rotoworld...not me!

Torry Holt-WR- Rams Nov. 30 - 8:53 pm et

According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, there was talk on the sidelines of Torry Holt "begging out" of Sunday's Dolphins-Rams game.
Of course the Miami media has this situation better covered than the St. Louis rags. It's uncertain why Holt was begging out, but he played without any passion despite being the Rams' most oft-targeted receiver. There are strong indications that Holt is going to ask out of STL after the season.

I love torry Holt but he doesn't play with heart anymore. Trade him with Ocho-Cinco? I heard Ocho-Cinco is having problems with bengels and might be leaving.?

I would not mind that trade one bit. It's too bad because Holt has been a great Ram since the day he arrived, but he needs to get away from this organization and ties must be broke it seems. Ocho Cinco needs a new jersey on his back so that he can get his "correct" name printed.

If this is true, let him ride the pine for the rest of the year.

Re: Holt "begging out" of the game

Just how exactly do you "beg" out of a game anyway? I find it hard to believe that Holt would not want to compete, but I'd immediately bench any player that whined about not wanting to play.

Re: Holt "begging out" of the game

i dont think haslett would take to a player begging out of a game too well.
if this story is true then we will find out soon enough!

and if torry does want out, then we HAVE to salvage a decent draft pick for him.
send him to seattle, they need wr help and i'd love to see him torch us twice a year.

Re: Holt "begging out" of the game

If this is true bench Torry Holt now. The only thing 85 would bring to our team is some unwanted negative media attention.

Why do people react as if this is a credible report? Sounds like a rumor to me.

Because the play of this team causes the fans to want to be mad at anything that comes down the pike.
