Holt to bolt?
BEFORE you get too excited here is the rest as posted on PFT.comHOLT WANTS TO GO HOME?
Posted by Mike Florio on April 23, 2008, 8:49 p.m.
Speaking earlier this week at a golf tournament he hosts with his brother, Terrence, Rams receiver Torry Holt muses that he’d like to ”send in my resignation” to the Rams and then sign with the Carolina Panthers.
The Holts both went to N.C. State, and Terrence Holt signed earlier this year with the Panthers.
WRAL.com Video Player ExperienceBefore we lump Holt into the Chad Johnson category, Holt was laughing as he said it. Later in the clip, Holt says that he plans to honor the final two years of his contract, and then see what happens next.

Re: Holt to bolt?
I hope he honors his contract and either resigns or retires. I don't want to see our two star receivers elsewhere.

Re: Holt to bolt?
I don't see any way he is gone BEFORE his contract unless we trade him or release him.
Now after that, he said he will wait and see. I think he will want to think about if we are a team that he can win a championship with (upcoming year will tell a lot), if we can get him the ball and let him do his thing, and if he can stay healthy and still play at a high level.

Re: Holt to bolt?
Holt has class, I'm sure he means it when he said he will honor the final 2 years of his contract.

Wow....I guess the players can't joke around at all without someone reading into it.
What is PFT.com anyway? I get pure fruit technology when I look it up.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Re: Holt to bolt?
Stuff like this is an example of how long and tedious the off-season gets, at least there is the draft this weekend. Roll on September!!..

Re: Holt to bolt?
SWEET HEAVEN ABOVE, WHY MUST THOU REIGN DOWN THIS STRANGE FIRE ON OUR BROKEN AND BEMOANED HEADS. YEA, THIS MOST BITTER OF WINES IS A BURDEN FAR TOO HEAVY TO CONSUME. TIS BETTER TO HAVE NEVER BEEN BORN THAN TO ENTAIL SUCKLE FROM THE RAMS TEAT AT THIS DARKEST OF HOURS.Rams receiver Torry Holt muses that he’d like to ”send in my resignation” to the Rams and then sign with the Carolina Panthers.
WOE UNTO THIS BARREN SPHERE. WOE.
Oh....well then, nevermind.as posted on PFT.com"Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod

Re: Holt to bolt?
Holt may be joking but that would be quite a sight to see. I don't want Holt to leave but I would love to see an offense with Steve Smith and Torry Holt running routes.
