Holt update

As you all may be well aware, Holt's 1,300 yard season is in jeopardy. He will need to average 128 yards per game over the next 2 games. Which is not impossible giving we are a playing 2 weaker pass defenses. He will need to play "Big Game" the next 2 contests if he wants his record in tact. He currently stands at 1044 yards.

Re: Holt update

its not out of the question

Minnesota will be a bit of a shootout i think, and Washington will be close, so i think Bulger will be going to Holt and Bruce often

RamsFan4ever - will become famous soon enough
Re: Holt update

I do care because i think if his streak continues, he wont have to wait longer to get in the Hall Of Fame after he retires. I think he'll do it... Matt Lienart had like 400 yards against the Vikings and Marc Bulger should do well too, but Darren Sharper is a really good safety so i hope Holt will burn them

Re: Holt update

It would be nice to see him get some more catches and yards. It is a nice record to hold.

Come on Torry...show us the stuff and the bounce. I like watching Holt when he is feeling bouncy.

Re: Holt update

While it would be nice because Holt still remains in relative anonymity as one of the great receivers, and such a record would help him down the line with hall of fame voting, the team must play the game to win. If that means running Jackson instead of passing, then so be it. Holt is a class act, and I'm sure he would agree with such an assessment.

Re: Holt update

Over the last month or so the Vikings are one of the best run defenses in the NFL. Passing is the way to beat them, so maybe Holt will get some nice yards in that game.
