    Be honest...

How many of you knew we have a 6-3, 203 lb. WR with 4.32 speed on our (practice squad)roster? I didn't.

Raymond Radway, (admittedly raw coming out of Abeliene Christian in 2011), was an UDFA by the Cowboys, and was favored to be the 3rd receiver, (the spot Ogletree eventually took), till he broke his leg on the last play of a the final preseason game and was put on IR.

I know, there's a million tall, fast guys that can't catch or get open, bit still...

I suppose one could look at it two ways: Rams need so much help at WR, they're only giving spots to those with the most upside (duh!), or...they need help so badly, they'll take a chance on anyone. Hopefully, he's our Cruz.

    Catch or not.

Speed still has to be respected.

Ill keep an ear out for that name.

Yeah I knew it...Tony Softli spoke about him on ESPN101 awhile back he said last year when we got him he looked to be very fast blew by Corland Finagan in practice. There might be something there.

He did not break his leg, he fractured his left ankle in the 2011 preseason finale. He did not make the Cowboys roster and was cut and signed by the Bears in 2012.

Hmm, good question. No, I had not paid any attention to RR - sorry. I suppose it is a long shot for this 2nd year / almost unknown / practice-squad-type player to make a name for himself but it could certainly happen -- his speed could become a factor; however, other requirements for a WR would need to be proven first.

HONESTLY, I didn't know that. And it sounds like he's over the injury

4.32 speed and 6'3". That's quite a project but if he can mold his route tree and WR-intuition, then this will be quite a steal for us.

    Re: Be honest...

It seems to me we have way too many of these "finds"- guys whom nobody knows much about yet occupy a roster spot. A couple of them might end up being productive pros and many probably won't. A good team first needs a nice nucleus of players- bonafide productive players- THEN they can round out their roster with projects and guys from smaller schools. You can't catch lightning in a bottle with multiple guys each year, and it's an approach that is high risk-high reward, in my opinion.

I truly hope some of these guys many on the forum think will be excellent contributors- Quick, Ganaway, Pead, etc- pan out.

The Rams likely have a Plan A and a Plan B for the draft. Likely if possible they will go with a WR as Plan A. But that still leaves the Rams short one WR (Gibson's defection to Miami). Perhaps this guy is a possible replacement for Gibson

Plan B isn't a bad option either which I think Saftey is likely where the Rams would go. I like the idea that the Ram's defense would be solid from tooth-to-tail in the NFC West.

Build to face your division opponents, has always been the best starting strategy. That means the Rams have to deal with 49whinner's & Seagulls QB. Plus the Rams have to deal with the 49whiiner running game and Seagulls new WR core. If Not defense then the Rams have to score points--The 1991 shows that if you can score at will, your defense gets to T-off on opponent's offenses

Was thinking along that line, really. Let's see how R&R responds.

Found out about this guy on Madden a while back. Intriguing height-weight-speed guy, but lets see how he produces.
