No we didn't. If you remember, Wilkins made a 56-YD FG in the playoff game against the Falcons 3 seasons ago in a big situation. It was the right decision. Basically, missed oppurtunities will haunt us all year long.

I agree. After Wilkins pulled out a 53-yarder, I don't think you can ask him to do it again. You've got to get closer. We were willing to try a 4th & 7 earlier, but not a 4th a& 3? I don't like that decision at all, and now Linehan's given the media and the fans something else to chew on for a week.

Turnovers and red zone inefficiency were huge in this game, but even with all that we were still in this game until that attempt. You just have to get him closer, IMO...

It was 4th and 2!! Why do we have all these weapons if we can't make 2 yards when our season is basically on the line. We have SJ, get the 2 yards!! I was screaming at the T.V. that there wasn't anyway he was going to make it.

If this offense can't pick up 2 yards when needed, then we deserved to lose. But now we'll never know if we would have gotten it.

Why on earth did Bulger spike the ball after the 1st down completion to Bennett with 1:20 left to go?? No idea...that play (minus the Hall muffed punt) lost the game. The 56 yard field goal would have instead been an easy 3rd and 2 play call.

The pain will hurt all week, We lost to an under par team. We can whine and cry but, even with the what if's of this weeks game, WE LOST!! Being an optimist, next week?

The turnovers killed us...play calling wasn't to bad. I think the offense made to many costly mistakes. Take away the turnover by holt or hall and then there wouldn't have been a 56 fg try.

thank you i agree with you 100%, if we went for the 4th down and didnt get it, everyone would have been pissed saying we should have went for the FG because JW is one of the best kickers, IMO it was smart, but it just didnt work out

No your wrong. It was a gutless decision that had a very low chance of working. If we go for it we have more than a 50% chance of making it. That FG was probably around a 10% chance. I'm so mad I'm going to step away from the computer before I trash it.
