Horrible News: Jack Snow passed away today
This is a bad day for all Ram fans. Jack was a great Ram player, and the guy who spoke for us all as the ultimate Ram fan on the radio broadcasts.
A good guy taken way too soon. I'm feeling pretty sad tonight.
Prayers to his family.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Jack Snow Passes Away
Monday, January 9, 2006
By Nick Wagoner
Senior Writer
Former Rams receiver Jack Snow died Monday after struggling with complications from a staph infection for the better part of the past month. He was 62.
Snow is survived by three children, daughters Michelle and Stephanie and son J.T.
Mr. Snow played 11 years for the Rams after being selected in the first round of the 1965 NFL Draft by Minnesota. He was traded to the Rams soon after and finished his career with the team.
In his 11 seasons, he posted 340 receptions for 6,012 yards and 45 touchdowns. He played his college ball at Notre Dame, where he was a member of the College All Star team in 1965 and a consensus All American in 1964. He finished fifth in Heisman Trophy voting that year.
Snow’s best professional season came in 1970, when he posted 51 catches for 859 yards with seven touchdowns.
Off the field, Mr. Snow worked in a variety of capacities. He spent the 1982 season coaching Rams receivers, but also made appearances in the film Heaven Can Wait with a guest starring role on the television show “Bewitched.”
Mr. Snow worked as part of the Rams radio broadcasts for the entire time the team was in St. Louis as well as three seasons before that with the team in Los Angeles.
His off the field contributions extended well beyond radio and television. Mr. Snow is an integral part of many of the team’s charitable efforts. He was active in the Angel Tree Holiday party, Football University, the Epilepsy Foundation and Bowl-a-RAMa, among others.
He was born on Jan. 25, 1943 in Rock Springs, Wyo. Funeral arrangements are unknown at this time.
The Snow family would like to thank the many friends and fans for the outpouring of support during Mr. Snow’s struggles in the hospital for the past few weeks.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: Horrible News: Jack Snow passed away today
I just sat down and found out that jack Snow had passed on what a sad thing to here , I dont know how to stop the tears ... What a loss , I remember when he came to the RAMS and how he played , He was not the fastest or the best during the time he played , But he was always giving 100% on every play year after year ...
He was and is a great man for all he did ... Iam proud to have met him and to have watched him play with Heart and pride ... He loved the RAMS no matter where they played and was great with the fans as he was their #1 fan for many years ... Death happens to all soo with Jacks passing I would like to say thank you Jack for the man you were and the heart in which you played the game ......... along with may god bless your family in their loss of you ... "Un Till We Meet Again so long"
