Jack was one of my favorites from the "old school". Sixty two is way to young to leave us.

I will miss is broadcasts as well. Not much else to add. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

He was a RAM in mind, body and character.

I wore #84 every year I played football. Even when I was a right offensive tackle. I wore it because of Jack Snow. Funny how when your a kid and you think someone is immortal. In some cases that belief lasts well beyond childhood.

A tragic and unexpected loss for the Rams Family. I had no idea that his condition was that severe. I thought that he would pull through this, and I would again enjoy hearing his voice on play by play next year. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. This has definately been a year to forget for our Rams...

Re: Horrible News: Jack Snow passed away today

I'd like to post a few thoughts on this tragic news:

1.) When I was but a lad I used to watch Rams games with my mom. She always liked Jack Snow because she thought he was "cute". I would always tell her that football players (and especially Rams players) were many things but "cute" was not one of them. Of course she didn't pay any attention and said #84 is cute any way.

2.) Many in the media would always pick on Jack for his alleged lack of speed; Mr. Snow would retort that he didn't know (and wasn't revealing) his 40 yd. dash time; but he had never been caught from behind. This is how I have always remembered Jack Snow.

3.) Gabriel to Snow, TOUCHDOWN!!! Nice touch OldRamsFan.

    WHAT SAY YE?

VERY sad news. Jack Snow had the best hands of any receiver of his generation. He brought great joy to Rams' fans with his play on the field, honest opinions to the broadcast booth, and a touch of class to the Rams organization. He will be sorely missed.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!

The Passing of Jack Snow is a huge blow to me and the RAMS community.

Watching Jack Snow play with my dad as a young boy is a huge reason why I remain a RAMS fan.

He was a class act on and off the field. I will surely miss him.

My condolences, heart and prayers goes out to his family.

    Another Gabriel to Snow TOUCHDOWN!

Jack, I am going to miss your classy competitiveness and your ability to touch people's lives in a positive manner.

Re: Horrible News: Jack Snow passed away today

The first time I met Jack Snow at Rams Park, he was standing over to one side of the indoor practice field and he was wearing his jacket and blue mirror glasses. He just loved watching the Rams and being involved with him.

My heart goes out to his family and the entire rams Nation for this loss.

A great man and a great Ram career.

    Go deap Jack

This man is perhaps THE reason I became a Rams fan when I was a wee lad. I liked the fact that he and my father shared the same first name so I began to follow his career...he and Gabriel quickly had me hooked. RIP Snow Man...you will be missed!!

I only remember Jack Snow from film clips. I wish I would have been following football when I was younger.

I read where Jack listened to the Rams-Cowboys game on New Year's Day. I hope he was able to hear how the Rams won.

Number 84 will be on the starting roster in Heaven.

Re: Horrible News: Jack Snow passed away today

A good man, a class individual, a Rams legend. :1:

Jack Snow's loyalty to the L.A. / St. Louis Rams was a constant during and after his playing years. He had a special place in his heart for his team.

He was well respected not only for his accomplishments as a WR but for his character on and off the gridiron. May his loved ones find consolation and peace in this.

He shall be missed ... for his departure was, among us, too soon, his friendliness too familiar.

That would've been very nice. Perhaps Steve Savard will comment on this -- that our friend Jack Snow's last radio contact with his beloved Rams would end with a surprising performance of the defense and a well earned Victory to close the season.

If he were able to, you would almost hear his voice commenting something positive about that last game. One day before taking his last breath.
