If Kroenke was the "rogue" owner to go out and sign free agents? it may make St. Louis just a little more enticing to players, seeing how ownership and management would be willing to work with the players more then the other owners...

Or it would totally screw up all the other owners because it is breaking their unity...

You're more of the legal person than i am, obviously lol, but if he doesn't start at least talking to players or his own, is the team risking contempt of court? i have no idea, just asking.

No, it would only be contempt if the teams collectively decided to continue the lockout. There is no obligation to contact, negotiate or sign anyone.
