    How can you like a head coach...

    How can you like a head coach that hasn't won it all despite the fact that...

    ... he that has great talent, and achieves a great regular season record;

    ... he has Hall of Fame players on the team;

    ... he makes the playoffs virtually every year, but can't win the big one;

    ... has a dominating unit on one side of the ball for years that even sets records;

    ... allows players to age while other teams form dynasties;

    How can you like such a head coach?

    How?

    Well, despite all that...

    I still like Chuck Knox.

    shame on you, av... chuck knox is a musical genius who is more deserving of than your mockery and cynicism... who can forget the lush string arrangements of his rendition of "tennesse waltz"....? :tongue:

    Cute Av, I liked it. As I read your post, I knew you had a trick up your sleeve. I'm getting to know your style. And, I think you made a good point.

    I remember the years of yearning while Chuck coached. We never quite got there, but usually had good seasons. The memories are blurred, but those were some great players to watch.
