Re: How can you take an OT so high in the draft and then not start him?

I Think Martz Has Trouble Understanding Some Of His Own Plays, I Think You Can Be To Complicated,it Can Be Harder Than It Needs To Be, If Th O-line Does There Job, Which Is Block The Man In Front Of You,things Will Go Well, If They Dont I Dont Care How Sophisticated You Think Your Plays Are They Wont Work.

I have to agree with RamsFanSam especially about the nasty little cockroaches.

Gotta love watching a 20 year old tell off a 16 year old. Funny stuff ZigZag.
Not sure what age has to do with it.

Ever since the Rams closed down the .com board I've seen a lot more of this kind of posting here. That's not what this board is about. One of the things that makes the Clan what it is is the posters who tell you why they think like they do.

ClanRam is quality. Some of the new guys have yet to grasp that concept.

Something I learned quickly....be prepared. Even if you can't pick apart a player's stats, or can't compare Steven Jackson to Eric Dickerson, at least explain your position instead of just posting a blanket statement...unless it's about the whiners. When you say "the whiners suck", you don't have to explain your position. The quality of the posts, the intelligent banter, is what makes this site the best.

Apologies to Rebel. No freudian slip there, just befuddled memory. I meant Ramsfan16.

The real question is why was I thinking Rebel?

And, what is more frightening is that, if you would of asked me, who wrote that, I thought it was the Ram fan from South Dakota.

Must be all the stress I'm under with my new job, and re-finishing my basement. Sigh. Please bear with my infirmities.

Okay, 'Venger, you -- almost -- got your wish. Barron did not start but played today. Played well according to Coach Hannafan's comments (visiting Savard and Snow's broadcast).

Alex helped us WIN Vs. Titans.

Re: How can you take an OT so high in the draft and then not start him?

Barron hit the field in the 2nd half, and played lights out. There was no pressure from the right side after he entered the game, and he even managed a fumble recovery when Bulger put the rock on the ground scrambling for yards.

    Barron has arrived.

And on a final note, when will we stop taking Martz' word as gospel when he talks to the media? If anything, that remark he made about hoping Barron sits out the whole year should have guaranteed us he WOULD play this week.

I said this in another thread...

Alright then, let's get The Barron in the mix of things!

You're right, AV, next week's matchup between Barron and Strahan will be "special" indeed.

NFL films might be prepping for that interesting battle. Come on Barron! :angryram:

He played today and was good. I feel things happen for a reason. I know they wanted to get him eased in as was Paces sugguestion and Martz. He should do well. I just hope he doesn't have a bad day and thenlose confidence in himself. Go Rams!

Age, well...it seems that good quality debating skills come with age and experience; however you, Nick and Disco are exceptions. I guess you could probably say the same things about women and their ability to talk football. Sorry just making assumptions which are probably wrong.

I am happy that we have clan members stepping up and keeping the quality discussion in place here at Clanram. I love this place.
