It's huge! San Fran is @ Pittsburgh, Arizona is @ Baltimore, and Seattle hosts Cincy ..
These are all potential losses which would leave the division standings as:
San Fran 2-1
Arizona 1-2
Seattle 1-2
St. Lous 1-2
RIGHT BACK IN IT!!!!

Yea, its huge....which is part of the reason why I think they are gonna win. They have there backs against the wall right now. 0-2 is a hole. 0-3 is panic mode! I expect the O to get back on track this week.
Way to be positive there buddy ...
Can we get this guy some lower level tickets to the Dome so he can revel in sorrow with the "real" fans?
I, for one, am very impressed by Dallas' ability to hold opponents to nearly 400 yards a game, especially the Giants and Dolphins, some real powerhouses ...
This game is big no doubt. We need to get into the win column. Also we don't want to be going into Dallas on a 3 game losing streak!!!
Definitely HUGE. :r
It is a big game also in terms of the team proving itself, each player, each coach; that they can do it, that they have indeed improved for 2007 -- defense, offense, ST. Especially the so called 'potential' that the offense boasts of, it needs to prove beyond potential.
No question about, this is a critical win. :bash:
Not quite sure how this is relevant to my post ...
On the other hand, my post definitely relevant to your poor attitude, but there really is no cure for that ...
Best jump off that bandwagon before it breaks down, spaces amongst the train for real fans are far and few between ...
But really, all kidding aside, there is help that can be had for the depressed and lonely. You should look into it ... :-)
Teams have won the Super bowl after being 0-2, not 0-3. That's the importance. Do I really think we'll win the whole this this year? Probably not with the injuries that we've sustained so far, though admittedly we've only lost Pace for the season so far, however I think we need him to get anywhere in the playoffs.
If we go 1-2, I think we can still pull out a 9-7 or even a 10-6 if we stay injury free and some of our opponents don't. If we go 0-3, I think we don't do better than 6-10. With luck in that scenario, we'll go 4-12 and then win it all next year.
This game is an absolute MUST win no question about it.0-3 and heading to Dallas is not where you want this team to be as it will be a very deep hole with no ladder.
I'd say this is an incredibly important game if the Rams want any shot at making the playoffs. About 1/10 teams that start off 0-2 make the playoffs. I don't know what the odds are for an 0-3 team to make the playoffs, but I doubt they get any better.
To put it bluntly, if the Rams lose this game, you can pretty much stick a fork in their playoff hopes.
I'd say it was essential. As Daddy points out, if we hit 0-3 it's going to be firefighting for the coaching staff from here on out.
I'm sure everyone at Rams Park knows how critical this weekend will be.
Well I don't think it's saying to much to say that we'll be the best 0-3 team EVER to miss the playoffs...:)
A win this weekend is as critical as a win every other weekend. Each game is critical, because there's only 16 of them. You need to make them all count.
Too many mulligans and you're missing the playoffs.
The game is only critical if anyone cares about making the playoffs. As others have stated, the odds of making the playoffs after an 0-3 start are virtually nill. In fact, while teams make the playoffs with an 0-2 start, if someone wanted to take the time to look it up, i am willing to bet that the odds of a team making the playoffs after losing the first two AT HOME, both to conference opponents, are very very very remote.
