How to criticize everyone and everything... in 10 easy steps!

    Just adopt the following philosophies:

    1. Any player who gets injured is soft.
    2. Any first round pick that is not on the all rookie team is a bust.
    3. If the team is losing, the coach is lousy and needs to be fired.
    4. A good team must win all games by at least 10 points or its underachieving.
    5. Any team that has a down year must be rebuilt from the ground up.
    6. The opposition rarely, if ever, deserves credit for beating your team.
    7. A team playing poorly in October should pack it in, as they will never improve by January.
    8. Anything short of a championship is not good enough.
    9. The salary cap is never an excuse for losing a decent player.
    10. When in doubt, blame everyone!

Pretty much. You guys should have seen our boards after the Bucs game. Everyone had to be fired, lets cut everyone, player A was responsible not player B, etc. Then we've gotta deal w/ the people that believe Vick can do NO wrong.

I'll bet it was a zoo after that game. Vick is a great player, but great players become negatives at times since the other players don't always play as hard and the fans expect too much from guys like Vick.

Ya know, if the Ram's had fans who were more supportive than the critical Avenger, then they'd probably win more games. Stop with the negative vibes Av, our team can feel em and its affecting them in a bad way.

If only I had that much power to influence the team.

You nailed it right on the head. I've never been someone that thought Vick can do no wrong. I've openly criticized him for some of the decisions he's made, the way he's careless w/ the ball in the pocket and how at times he just looks like a player who hasn't progressed in 4 seasons since his Hokie days. However, after that game we've got people wanting to put Schaub in for Vick and other crazy things. People wanting to fire the OC, cut or trade Price, fire Mora, just ludicrous stuff. Now I don't like our OC or Price, but I realize that 2 seasons is not enough to judge anyone. Had the Rams fired Vermeil after two seasons would they have won the SB? Who knows, but they kept him and they ended up winning it. I give every person three seasons with the exception of QBs who might take 3-5 years to come along. Drew Brees was a DISASTER last season, Chargers gave up on him then BOOM now he's got on outside looking in shot at the MVP award. However, I realize that its the nature of the "internet" fan. The internet gives everyone the uncanny ability to be stupid and faceless. I know this the Falcons are currently 9-3 and firing coaches at the cliff of a playoff berth just isn't feasible. I'd rather have a comfortable offense that knows their system and coach for more than 2 seasons IF possible!

    11. Anyone who takes umbrage with an Avenger Post is anti-Team and anti-Rams. Any response to his posts are an attack.
