How do we finish this season?

We sit at 3-5 halfway through the season. Honestly, even though we lost Sam, I can see 3-4 more wins. But that is if our defense plays the way they did last night. Tennessee, Chicago(banged up), and Tampa Bay are winnable games. If I would pick a road game we could pull the upset, it would be Arizona even though they have a good defense.

Last night's defensive effort was remarkable- one of the best defensive performances by the Rams or anyone else in the NFL in years, and we still didn't win. One cannot expect that level of intensity and production every game. We are going to have to score points, pure and simple. Otherwise, 4 more wins is awfully difficult to see.

Yes, that defensive performance was truly exceptional. While I expect better defensive play, I do not think it reasonable to expect that each week. The defense took it upon themselves to win that game. The emotion was high. They cannot keep that adrenaline rush at that level for too long. I do however expect them to play much better then they did up to Carolina. But we will have hard time scoring points if our QB is inaccurate and our receivers keep dropping balls. I would say we are looking at 5-11....maybe 6-10. I fear losing begets losing especially without Sam. Team is very emotional right now and that can play against them as well as time moves on.

hopefully they finish the season selling more tickets. This was supposedly 10 minutes before kick off

the Rams were trying to sell tickets for $6.00. Sure the world series is part of the reason but that still bad

I think it's largely dependent on our team attitude and desire to go out and play hard, knowing the season is basically a wash. We showed that we can still hang with the big boys though, so maybe that pushes them forward to a few more wins down the stretch.

should go 3-0 the next few games, very winnable

if the rams were able to play last night, preferably the D, the running game is coming along nicely

then maybe they'd still have bradford, maybe they beat carolina too...5-0 stretch woulda been possible

but at least last night should have been a W plain and simple

I had us a 4-12, or 5-11 at the beginning of the season (3rd toughest schedule). I'll stick with that. This team has been far too inconsistant for me to change what I think based on one game (no matter what I'd LIKE our record to be).
