How Far Can We Go....?

Great win today Rams fans! We finish at 8-8 and squeak into the playoffs.

Personally I am happy to see our Rams in the playoffs as I'm sure the rest of you are too.

However......Do the Rams deserve to be in the playoffs?

They somehow found a way to win today, against the Jets, but at the same time, like many times this season, they almost found a way to lose.

At one point, as I was nervously watching this game unfold while screaming and hollering like a fool, I turned to my understanding wife and said:

"They just don't deserve to win"

Well as it turns out I was happily wrong!!

It has certainly been a crazy season for our Rams and at the end of it all they never ceased to entertain.

I really don't know what to think about the upcoming playoffs. I guess we deserve to be in the playoffs. The math has been done and it says we're in, but I just can't help wondering....

Perhaps......stranger things have indeed happened.

I'm just thrilled we are in the playoffs.....I just want to take one game at a time and see, hey this is the NFL, any given sunday!!!! who knows?????

Don't get me wrong, the win today was well earned and showed a lot of heart, but I think it was much more difficult than it should have been. I don't know how many more games we can win with multiple turnovers, stupid penalties and absolutely horrible special teams play. If we can take care of those areas, get the kind of effort from the entire team like we got today from the offensive line and defense, I think we could do some damage in the playoffs. Big ifs, but possible IMO.

Do we deserve to be in the Playoffs? Heck Yes! While we’re not a great team, does anyone else in the NFC scare you?

We’ve already beaten Seattle twice. Vic is either on or off, you never know. Green Bay and Philly are probably the favorites, but on a given day either can be beaten.

The Rams are Peaking at the right time. I like our chances.

I feel the same way about my Seahawks but both teams played just well enough to win today. Should be fun next week. May the third time be the charm -- go Seahawks!
