How Long? What Must be done?
How fast can we turn this thing around? Will a coaching change be enough? How many players are we really away? After a coaching is made and a change in the GM is made what players has to go. This look bad, this team seem as far away from turning this thing around as any rams team I ever seen. Years? I don’t know but it looks like a long time.

Re: How Long? What Must be done?
Well we saw the team go from 1-15 to 7-9. Over the past few years teams like the Dolphins have gone from 1-15 to 11-5. The Falcons 4-12 also to 11-5. A drastic turnaround is not impossible. However it truly is impossible to be able to gauge how long it will take. The Rams could go 14-2 next season or 2-14 it really is hard to tell. What is known is that many things will need to change with both coaching and personnel if this team is truly ready for a drastic turnaround.

Re: How Long? What Must be done?
We have experienced a rather dramatic turnaround once before and we're witnessing one this season inspired by a Mr Harbaugh and so its possible. What I would point out is that this will be Mr Kroenke's first opportunity to make a mark on the organisation and from what I've seen of him elsewhere I have a feeling, hopeful as it may be, that this offseason will be a good one.
It has to be because there are a lot of us for whom this season has been the high-water mark of disappointment and if the Rams are to stay in St Louis they'll need to win; Stadium gripes will be the least of anyone's concerns.
All I ask personally is for a team that represents a professional football team rather than a doormat, one that manages to look as if it belongs in the league and actually has something resembling an offense. The let-down I've felt this season has been about as bad as its gotten for me in terms of me following a sporting team and my game-pass subscription won't be renewed In January unless I see something that gives me hope that it will be money well-spent.
This morning I logged on to catch the game at the end of the 4th (forgot the PST difference) saw the score and logged off in disgust as I witnessed us make no attempt to avoid a shutout.
I'm normally fairly upbeat but this season has left me cold, as it has many others, Mr Kroenke is going to have his work cut-out this winter.

We need to spend the money and bring in an experienced headcoach.

Re: How Long? What Must be done?
We are about to enter a rebuild of a rebuild of a rebuild. Who knows when the suckage will end. My greatest hope is that the Rams can just get back to playing competitively. No miracles needed, just an NFL caliber game that doesn't induce an unexpected naptime.

Re: How Long? What Must be done?
A quality head coach could turn this around pretty quickly IMO. You don't need a 3 year rebuilding program. With the way they signed mostly 1-year free agents last year, this roster could be dramatically rebuilt in one offseason.
