He signed a 5 year $50 million dollar contract with us this offseason. so he'll be here a few years.
Finny will always follow Fisher just like how Lloyd will always follow McD. Fisher has proven he can turn this team around so don't be surprised if Finny stays with us through the very end. So go get your Finny jersey! I've been looking to get one also.
no reason for him to leave. we signed him to a good contract,he`s with the HC whose coached him through all but one year and gave him a chance. players who came out in the late rounds or went undrafted tend to feel a stonger sense for loyalty towards those who took a chance on them i think. Finnegan was a 7th round pick.
he probably wouldn`t have come here under anyone but Coach Fisher.
