How Many Current Rams Should Be In Next Year's Starting Lineup?
How many current Ram players do you think should absolutely be in next year's starting lineup (or, put another way, which players/posltions are not priorities to upgrade for next year).
My number is 15 out of 26 (including K, P, KR, PR). Here's my list:
Marc Bulger - QB
Steven Jackson - RB
Torry Holt - WR
Isaac Bruce - WR
Joe Klopfenstein - TE
Orlando Pace - OT
Alex Barron - OT
Richie Incognito - OL (OG or C)
Leonard Little - DE
Will Witherspoon - LB (MLB or OLB)
Pisa Tinoisamoa - OLB
Tye Hill - CB
Fakhir Brown - CB
Jeff Wilkins - K
Matt Turk - P
There are other current players who may end up in next year's starting lineup (Timmerman, Adeyanju, Wroten, Glover, Chavous, Atogwe), but certainly their positions are up for grabs if an upgrade can be obtained in FA or the draft.

I think that is very likely, though I'd like to see a few more games out of him before I put him on the list.

Re: How Many Current Rams Should Be In Next Year's Starting Lineup?
I'd like to add Kevin Curtis to the list as #3 WR. He's does well when called upon so why lose him unless we have to to save $ for defensive aquisitions.

i think Curtis is going to be tough for us to bring back,he wants more playing time and i am sure some team will throw stupid money at him, possible reunion with Martz in Detroit, although i think Martz gets the Arizona Cardinals job next season when Denny Green is fired.

Re: How Many Current Rams Should Be In Next Year's Starting Lineup?
Why on earth would Martz bring Curtis to the Cardinals if he got that gig? Even he isn't so stupid as to realize that they need an offensive line.
Besides that, they've already got three good receivers.

Re: How Many Current Rams Should Be In Next Year's Starting Lineup?
Curtis wouldnt go to Arizona, just because thats the worst place for a WR to go for playing time

I would like to see Isaac as the third WR next year with Curtis as the 2 WR. I think this guy has hug upside and he deserves more PT.

Re: How Many Current Rams Should Be In Next Year's Starting Lineup?
I wouldnt expect Atogwe to lose his starting job. Although he has taken some bad angles he has made a few nice plays. He just needs more time to grow and mature.
The Roman and The Prince. Playmakers until the end.

Re: How Many Current Rams Should Be In Next Year's Starting Lineup?
AV's got a good list and those players are the only ones that I can think of saying that we are set at. Other than that, every position should be up for grabs.
