Re: How NOT to beat the Seahawks
Ok, NOW a team has lost the game DIRECTLY because of the refs.
Will the NFL get these guys out of there? That was absolutely horrendous. If that were the Rams I'd be livid. Besides the BS catch, a blatant offensive pass-interference should have been called.
Heck, it wasn't against the Rams and I AM livid.Faithful Rams fan since 1968

Re: How NOT to beat the Seahawks
Just curious... but if GB refused to come back out for the kick what happens? I would have told my team to get in the shower and leave.

Re: How NOT to beat the Seahawks
Just went over to the Hawks board. The majority of their fans are admitting that it was a bad call (though they are happy about the outcome).
So, to keep on my original point.
How NOT to beat the Seahawks (or any other team): relying on the replacement refs to make the right calls.
Welcome to the St. Louis Rams!

Re: How NOT to beat the Seahawks
That could have been the worst call I've ever seen. First the officials missed the painfully obvious push off by Tate, and then the fact that Jennings had both hands on the ball, while Tate had one. Unbelievable.

Re: How NOT to beat the Seahawks
At least one of the refs got the call right.... Its too bad they didn't listen to him

Re: How NOT to beat the Seahawks
Oh boy...
I am the lone wolf Rams fan in a house of all Packers fans. The atmosphere here was intense to say the least, and I wouldn't have reacted any different. Cursing you name it. I can't imagine if it were the Rams effected.
But in a sense we kind of were as was the rest of the NFC West....
I am not declaring we are making the playoffs or anything cause its way early but think about this...
If the replacement officials make the right call Seattle falls to 1-2 tied with us for last in the division. This week comes and we beat Seattle.. Instead of being 2-2 and ahead of Seattle, and dropping them to 1-3 crippling them they will still be a salvagable 2-2. Damn.

Re: How NOT to beat the Seahawks
Hmm....
I sure hate to say I told you so about these refs, but I told you so back in week 1.
Like I've been preaching - the NFL has lost it's credibility.
What a flippin joke!

How NOT to beat the Seahawks
Just saw on Twitter that the crew for the game last might was the same one that officiated our game vs. the Redskins last week.

Re: How NOT to beat the Seahawks
That call definitely tops the worst call this season, I couldn't believe it. But for the topic, I'm sorry for Sam Sunday with this O-line. At the Pace the Hawks were going at the half, they could have hit the sack record for a game. Sam held the ball for too long on some plays against Bears and he can't do that again.

Re: How NOT to beat the Seahawks
You know, if we drafted a D-III player, and threw him in the starting lineup from Week 1......the coaching staff would be called crazy.
But the NFL takes officials from D-III, and puts them on the field from Week 1?
Surely, EVERYONE saw this coming."Before the gates of excellence the high gods have placed sweat; long is the road thereto and rough and steep at first; but when the heights are reached, then there is ease, though grievously hard in the winning." --- Hesiod
