Ugh, I am completely split on this one. Early this month I would have given us no chance to win this game. The cards have had our number (like everyone else) in recent years. Having said that, if preseason is any indication the cards offense will struggle this year. Derrick Anderson is hardly a top 20 QB even though he is throwing to fitz, along with the question of Steve Breaston. Was he simply a really good #3 or can he come up as the #2 guy? Now the defense still worries me and I dont like the prospect of sam getting taken down early. But if our offense can click fast I would say we have a decent chance at taking this one.

The Cards D will look to try shutting down S-Jax but our new WR-corps should surprise them in adjusting their defense to put a little more focus on them, getting some pressure off S-Jax's shoulders while he passes the 100 yd margin. Bartell will have his ups and downs in shutting Fitz but should be well enough to put us ahead in the scoreboard. Sammy should be capable of making his completion rating at 50-55% with the possibly of a sack and a pick. Overall we should have a balanced offense as compared to our run-heavy game last year.

Big defensive game on both sides, but Brown's 3 field goals are enuf to top em in the 3rd & and a costly turnover by the Cards in the 4th allow the Rams to keep possession and kill the last few minutes of the clock.
