A hypothetical Wilkins question
If Wilkins continues kicking as bad as he has the last 2 games, how long do you think it will be before they bring back that super midget Lovell kid that was deadly accurate this preseason? In my mind no matter how lonbg a kicker has been with a team, or how how i think we should be to him, I have to remind myself that he is just a kicker and very replaceable if he can't get the job done anymore.
I know it's premature to think about giving him the boot after only 2 games, but just how long do you think he can keep this up for before a replacement is brought in?

I agree with you. Look at what happened to Mike Vanderjerk. Wilkins is in a funk/slump whatever you want to call it. How long do we give him to snap out of it?
Re: A hypothetical Wilkins question
Well, beside being a good question, as the Rams are desperately trying to "improve", so must Wilkie! :bash:
I still don't know what happened during game at Dallas -- bad snap or just a "klonk" of a kick!?! A 28 yrd. FG missed...
Amazing how this year Money seems more like "change", pun intended. But RFTID, you have a point. I would think JW will stay put at least until the bye week (8).

It was a perfect snap and perfect hold, he just kicked it wide right.
