Great TEAM victory. We won all phases especially SPECIAL TEAMS. Hekker was the player of the game IMO.
And just a vent- How disrespectful was it for the NFL Network to have a whole pregame (except for a 2 min interview with Fisher) on the Cards. Which included Micheal Irving having a sign with Fitzgerald breaking records on it and Deion calling the other 21 (peterson) the best player on the field. Made the victory sooooooooooo much sweeter

I agree ram1906. Hekker is awesome. Hey it reminds me of what John Madden once said. (and I am referring to place kickers here but it can apply to punters as well if you understand the game like you do.) Madden said: "You knock the snot out of each other, bleed, break bones all game long and then you carry a kicker off of the field." That was paraphrased however you get the point.

I haven't been this proud of the team in years. It feels good not be a laughing stock and get some respect. As I'm sure I'm not the only, I was very upset when I saw Danny holding his shoulder. He has saved us on so many drives and a big asset on our offense. But like you said, this gives the opportunity for Givens and Quick to step it up.

The offense has to build more chemistry. First possession they were on fire. After that it went down hill. Bad passes were thrown and balls were being dropped. If that offense can start to gel more, move up the field on more possessions, We can be a very good team.

It would be very nice to beat Miami. After them, we have a difficult 3 game stretch. I love where this team seems to be heading.

You know what really contains me? This is a Jeff fisher team and regardless of any outcome this team is going to hit you, this team is going to cause you to make mistakes and this team is going to be in every game. AND this team is going to get better and better. Its a good time to be a Rams fan!

Huge game, to get over .500 for the first time 6 years is a huge occasion. No longer are the Rams the doormat of the NFL.

I've been looking at the Cardinals and Seahawks forum after both games and the fans are blaming coaching, O line, QB play and all saying "we lost a game we should have won". Very few people are giving the Rams credit. I actually saw one guy post that with Levi Brown the Cardinals would have won.

I don't think i have been that proud watching the rams since the GSOT. We straight up pwned them.
This whole season has breathed new life into the rams and the fans. We are truly a real football team again.

I dont remember what C.Long said exactly, but it was something i have been feeling and i think we all have this year. He said "we go into games knowing we have a really good chance to win, that we can win. Last year id tell myself that and had to kind of trick myself into believing it."

Im sure the quotes off, but its something like that.

My guess is Steve smith will be active next week and might fill danny's role.

BTW, not sure if this has been mentioned here or in another thread already but, how about the crowd getting loud (for a welcomed change) several times last night! Funny that QB Kev Kolb would put his hands over the ear openings of his helmet to hear better the signals coming in, and the crowed would only get lowder.

That may me proud too.
