    Actually, according to Savard, Wahlroos was selected over Lloyd by Martz in camp because of his special teams play. We dumped Thomas to create the extra spot so we could acquire Johnson in the secondary and for returns.

    If that is the case nick i stand corrected, but if we were going to keep thomas, i dont see how wahlroos could have made it even if he did beat out lloyd. If we couldnt have gotten chris johnson, does that mean thomas would have been cut and we would have picked someone for the secondary up on waivers.
