I blame the offense for the loss
Take out the 6 points on blown field goals
Take out the 14 points on fumbles
put in the int in the end zone giving 7 points
That 27 points on the offense
Yes the defence was bad but green bay is not so bad on offense .Therfore
I blame the offense for this loss.

I blame the horrific fake FG call.

Re: I blame the offense for the loss
The field goal unit isn't a part of the offense. It's special teams.

Granted......however, it is the OC/HC making the calls when it comes to FG's.

He said he blamed the offense, not the OC/HC.

I bet the worm in that apple could rush for 150 on this defense.

Re: I blame the offense for the loss
You're right, the offense should take most of the blame. They get most of the salary cap money, they should be held up to a higher parameter.

Re: I blame the offense for the loss
Funny, I seem to recall making that point repeatedly last year when I said the offense was underachieving and that they should be a little more consistent based on the talent level we had. In response I got regularly lambasted for expecting this offense to resemble "the greatest show".You're right, the offense should take most of the blame. They get most of the salary cap money, they should be held up to a higher parameter.

Re: I blame the offense for the loss
Its funny, most of the salary cap has gone to the offense while most of the picks of the first 2 rounds have gone to the defense. At this time, it seems neither strategy is working. Maybe we should switch the strategy and maybe it has already started with Stephen Jackson.

Re: I blame the offense for the loss
I wouldn't necessarily expect "the greatest show on turf" but a few more points than 17 shouldn't be unrealistic.

Re: I blame the offense for the loss
I have been expecting more points from the offense all season and they are not producing. It's strange, since there is so much talent there.
