I don't feel so bad right now

While we were embarrased, we lost on the road, a home team is always expected to win at home. The Raiders on the other hand are getting whipped 41-7, at home. Now that's pathetic. I'm upset that we played with no heart. But I will now hold my judgement until next Sunday. Hopefully that game was not a sign of things to come.

I hope we show more heart next sunday. I'm hoping that Burton steps up, that our players stay healthy, and for crying out loud, PROTECT BULGER!

Wow you recovered quickly. I am still in a mood and I have not watched any other games. I wish I would have taped the game and taken the motorcycle out instead. I wasted a beautiful day sitting inside to watch that disaster.

Yeah, but even the Raiders scored TD's in garbage time. The Rams were the only team to not score a touchdown. I still feel as bad.

That said, there's always hope for this week, but I think someone else needs to step up and become the defacto head coach so that Linehan can sit around and "get motivated by having success" at Madden or something.

We can't get destroyed 2 weeks in a row, especially in our home opener. If we don't keep this game close, I think we are going to have a repeat of the 07 season, maybe worse!

Re: I don't feel so bad right now

First game of the year, in Philly, we sucked big time. We all know at this point we are not on par with a team like the Eagles, but we are in the NFC west so that's okay. ***** lose, seahawks lose, Rams lose. We are tied for second place in the division and with a cards loss and a Rams win we are back in it. I'm not going to panic until we go 0-3. The Giants may be too much to handle, but anyone can win on any Sunday. I'm not about to pack it in by Week 2, and I hope you all aren't either.

Anyone that's been a Ram for more than just a couple of years has learned to "recover quickly". We've had a lot of practice.

Yes, I took great joy in watching the Raiders get pummeled last night. But I will say this. At least they put up a fight to the end and put up some garbage points, something our Rams didn't do. I was surprised at how badly their high priced DB's got abused. ....uh, not really.

Re: I don't feel so bad right now

that rookie Eddie Royal looked real good..(ive just dropped Drew Dropnett for him in my fantasy team!) grrrrrr wish we could have swapped them in real life...so much for the wideout rookie class being so bad this april..ive been impressed with everyone ive seen play so far!

and indeed us longterm fans have learnt how to recover quickly from a bad loss...Al Davis`s Faiders being Pummelled by Shanahan`s boys is always good viewing!
dont ya wish you wasnt such a meddling buffoon sometimes Al?
