That was another tough loss. I think it was the 28-0 loss in 1978 in the NFC title game to the hated Cowboys that "Hollywood" Henderson ran his mouth and ran an interception back for a TD. God, how I hated the Cowboys back then.

Thing about the 1978 regular season: the Rams beat the other three Super Bowl semifinalists in the regular season - the Cowboys, the Steelers and the Oilers. They played the AFC Central that year.

Oh Hp, I assure you too, I suffered right along with you through 1990-1998. I didn't jump ship during the wilderness years and jump back on the bandwagon.

I was about to get NFL "Sunday Ticket" when it first became available here to watch the Rams every week back in the days when Tony Banks, Eddie Kennison and company NEVER played on Monday Night or national TV.

Now with the Rams a marquee team, every game of theirs except one was televised down here.

I remember feeling optimistic that Chuck Knox could bring back the glory days when he was hired . . when? 1993? That sure didn't happen.
