I have only one thing to say......
NO MORE CRITISIZING OJ ATOGWE!!! He has don't that a few times for us this season, he was our savior on dfense this game, he had 7.5 tackles today (which led us) and he has only been a starter for a year now, don't forget that he is only in his 2nd year so lets wait till the end of NEXT SEASON to start being a critic of OJ ok?
P.S.- I lied I have 2 things to say....HOW BOUT THEM RAMS?????
Re: I have only one thing to say......
I agree with you. Atogwe is more a part of the solution than he is a part of the problem.
Re: I have only one thing to say......
Atogwe was all over the place today. I really like what I see in him and he's only going to get better.
Re: I have only one thing to say......
Atogwe definitely showed up big today. The problem is he's shown up big in previous games only to disappear the following week. My biggest problem with him is inconsistency, but there's no question he's shown flashes of being something special.

Might this be a matter of the opponents specifically neutralizing him, or a matter of match-ups coincidental to scheduling, or just plain still trying to adapt to the rigors of the NFL?

I would be shocked if teams game planned to specifically neutralize OJ Atogwe. I think it's just a matter of him being young an inexperienced. The question then becomes whether or not he's going to make the improvements necessary to take the next step as a player.
At the very least he's certainly trying to make a case against a first round safety, though I think taking a safety in the first round would be as much a factor of what's available as it would be our own personnel.
Re: I have only one thing to say......
You look at how Bartell and Hill played today too, and I think the Rams really aren't too far away from a pretty good secondary. These guys just need time...
What a great draft pick Hill was, I think he's going to be something special.

Let's not forget, this is Atogwe's "rookie" season (he was essentially "redshirted" last year). I agree that he is inconsistent, but I expect he will improve.

That is a beautiful picture
