I Talked to former Rams Linebacker Yesterday

If you don't know who Greg Westbrooks is I will fill you in. He was drafted by the Saints where he spent about 7 years as a starter. He then found himself in Oakland behind Henrdicks. In 1979 Al Davis told him I am going to send you to LA for a year then bring you back to Oakland. Since the Rams played the Steelers in the Superbowl that year Greg played in back to back Superbowls winning one and losing one. Al Davis true to his word brought Greg back to Oakland where the Raiders won superbowl 15. He finished his career a Raider and retired a Raider however he has a special place in his heart for that 1979 Rams team.

I talked with him for a couple hours last night. I told him what Martz had done regarding practice and the hitting. He said "Shat we hit on Wednesday and Thursday every week."

There is a time and place for everything. The trick is identifying the when and where with whom.
