I think I'm becoming addicted to buying jerseys

This is my latest one (a custom job, of course):

I think I'm becoming addicted to buying jerseys-jersey.jpg

That's right... its has "Flipper" on the back. Heck... I'm sure there are a few #83 throwback Anderson jerseys out there, but how many embrace the name "Flipper" (who, by the way, was my favorite animal actor as a kid - I saw him many times at the Miami Seaquarium).

The bigger issue is my growing addiction to purchasing jerseys (I already have a Tavon Austin jersey too).

Now that I've admitted I have a problem, perhaps I've started the road to recovery.

    Or... maybe not.

Cant beat owning the real thing Steven Spachs gameshirt from the 2011 game vs Pittsburg and Jermelle Cudjo's preseason shirt from 2010

Thankfully, the baby has kind of stopped me from going overboard with recent jersey purchases. It's a lot harder to justify the cost nowadays.

In a couple of years, college tuition for my daughter (and, one year later, for my son) will likely have the same effect.

Re: I think I'm becoming addicted to buying jerseys

I have 5 Rams jerseys, and that's plenty (probably more than plenty). Other than games, or Bash weekends, I rarely wear them. I just got a limited edition black Bradford Nike authentic to have a current player, so I'm set, that's it, no more, I'm done!

Do you guys wear all these jerseys, or do they pretty much sit in the closet like mine?

I do not wear my jerseys anymore.....I have mine hanging in my man cave. I am very selective on my jersey selection. I stick to the guys that mean much to me. Last one I got was Warner jersey...have Faulk, Slater, Youngblood.....and Ike......Would love ED, Merlin and Saul.

Re: I think I'm becoming addicted to buying jerseys

I definitely wear my jerseys, but I have a few relegated to the wall in the man cave (Dickerson, Warner, Bruce, Holt, Faulk, Wistrom, Pace, Carter, and now Jackson) and one in my office at work (my signed Chris Long #72 jersey from his first home game and the only bash I have been able to attend). I don't have a new jersey yet this year, but my current stable includes: Bradford, Quinn, Laurinaitis, Long #91 and Brockers. I see the only real problem is that I don't have more.....mindset of a possible addict I suppose.

Be careful buying stuff from China... True story. A fellow golfer that plays in the group in front of mine on Saturdays is a Washington Huskie alum. He bought a set of head covers that were made in China and when he got them, they were nice looking, in the correct colors of the Washington Huskies, and had the Washington Logo. However, the head covers read; "Huskers". ...but he got a great deal on them.... LOL

Yes, and they were excellent. I got scammed (when I was younger) into buying a Steven Jackson jersey from one of the few sports stores we got down here that sell football gear and it ran me $145. I was pretty ecstatic at the time. Come about 1 year later one of my buddies was buying from a Chinese site and I told him (Eff it, I'll take 3 - Long, SJax, Bradford) and when they arrived 2/3 were amazing. The Bradford and Long are spectacular and are 100% legit. They are WAY better than my store bought $145 SJ.

These jerseys were identical and 100% exactly like the 2011 jerseys. The SJ was a little strange as it came with weird material but still 100x better than my $145 SJ jersey.

All in all, watch where you buy from. A lot of these sites scam and you never get your money back. Read lots of reviews. But I promise you my jerseys are unreal and I got them $30 a piece. Unfortunately I wear none of them and they all sit in my closet.
