I Think We Have Our Franchise RB

And his name is Zac Stacy. He is amazing. He's got burst, he's got agility, he's got vision, he has a nose for the end zone, and he NEVER gives up. I don't care who you're playing, 127 yards and two TD's is getting it done. Whoever made the decision to draft him is looking like a genius. If everybody on the team played with his heart, we'd be in great shape. My new favorite Ram.

Seems to get tired and lost when you need him the most.

he'll get better, but when you're carrying the team you'd get tired too lol

if the rams moved the ball better with the other players he'd be in more

Players usually exit the field after either multiple carries or big gains. He had a lot of both.

    Give the guy a break.

It's not like him coming off the field for a play or two here and there is something new in the NFL.

I'm not sure anyone on this team has earned a break!

I'm getting older so my memory is fading but I don't remember ED getting tired and needing a break all the time when he was carrying this team back in the 80's.

I get tired carrying groceries into the house. I imagine carrying 3-4 defenders is a tad bit more strenuous.

Well then you would seemingly be extremely out of shape. But on a serious note, he does not carry 3-4 defenders on every down.

Interesting that we now have a rookie RB that has played 4 games on a losing team and is beyond criticism.

You mean like in the red zone? Or when he made a heads up play to catch a batted Clemens pass? Or the late 4rd quarter run where be bounced off 3 defenders and took it for 32 yards, fueling the drive that led to the tying score? Or the catch for 13 yards on the drive ended by Clemens' fumble? Tell me again when he got tired and lost??

What were the odds at the start of the year that Stacy would be more productive than Austin? Kudos to fisher and snead for the trade up to get their guy. So much for running back by committee.

Stacy must think the turf is lava and he'll get burnt if his knees touch it, because he refuses to go down.

Didn't he need to come out for a rest after every one of those plays?

    Didn't they lose the game?

Wasn't he on the sidelines at the end of last weeks loss?

    Aren't we merely a .500 team since he's started?

Do you expect he will lead the rams to a winning season this year?

    seriously?

Stacy isn't walking off the field himself unless he's been hurt

coaches make swaps too, he stepped up and did his part to score and keep drives alive

    HE did HIS part

the TEAM did not do THEIRS

as an individual he got it done

    but the TEAM didn't

    this is a TEAM sport

    TEAM

    TEAM

    TEAM

    why don't people understand?

Do you think maybe the coaches are the ones who determine who's on the field? I didn't see Stacy putting up his hand looking for a breather or asking to come off once. Did you?

127 yards rushing, 6 catches for 51 yards, and two TD's. What a slacker!

i don't think they expected stacy to make an impact like he has

richardson has to learn to be patient and run to the OUTSIDE, which schotty hasn't learned

cunningham had a goof, how? No idea...but i expect him to hold on to the ball better next time

as for Pead?...I really can't say other than i think he's not getting it done enough in practice, he's just not in the right mindset

i'd expected him to be traded....but idk what the rams could get for him, heck, i'm sure they did shop him...but again, idk

do the rams need another RB in the draft? IDK lol...though someone else needs to step up so stacy can get rest and the rams can stay comfortable
