Alright, dude, it's the pre-season and this rookie broke a big gain against a bunch of backups. Yeah, that's the big time there.

Second, you can criticize Avery for his hands or his routes or his lack of a big school pedigree...but I think you're probably the only person who will say that what he's lacking is speed. He ran a 4.4 forty on a pulled hamstring at the Combine and is said to have clocked around 4.2 prior to the Combine. He's not slow, he didn't have a cracked pelvis when we drafted him, and you can't predict that kind of injury. It's not like he had a history of butt fractures.

If we acknowledge that you told us we should draft him instead of Avery even though that wasn't really an option anyway because he was off the board before the start of the second round...then will you stop posting these inane "I told you so" threads?
