I want to be the first person to say this here.

The Rams will win 10 games in 2014 despite Sam Bradford's injury.

I really believe this to be true.

There will be adjustments to make, but this team can succeed behind (1) a strong running game, (2) WRs who can make big plays, and (3) a defense that will help the offense by producing turnovers and great field position.

Shaun Hill will have a good year.

The Rams will still be looking for a new franchise QB in next year's draft, but Hill will have a good enough year that a rookie in 2015 will have to earn the starting job.

I'm not just being a blind optimist here. I truly believe that the Rams will win 10 games.

I look forward to gloating when I am proven right.

    I didn't think they'd win 10 with Sam. We're looking at 5 or 6 now.

I'll jump on that bandwagon! I'm sure Fisher will go with Hill since he has the most experience. I'd like to see Davis get one more serious consideration with next week's final preseason game.

10 wins or more it will be!!

I highly disagree. I think we are at least an 8-10 win team without Bradford. We need Shaun to be a game manager. If we can run the ball the way we did last year we will be okay. Not to mention the improvements at the WR and OL positions. Regardless, Fisher is going to make his guys play hard week in and week out. They don't have a losing mindset. Nor should they. They've accomplished a lot without Bradford. Unfortunately, it's just time to move on.

Looking at their schedule I don't think there's anyway they win 10 games, especially with a back-up QB. Not only do we play in the toughest division in football, but were playing the NFC East and AFC West this year and not one of those games will be gimme's. I seriously think an 8-8 season would be an accomplishment for this team.

All I'm going to say is if this season is indeed a train wreck (W-L record speaking) and we move on from Bradford, there is no reason to keep Brian Schottenheimer.

Stability and the same offensive system was key for Sam after his first two years in the league but if he is no longer in the fold it will be a new system for whoever is the future at the position. No reason we can't upgrade at OC like we just did with Greg Williams at DC.

Very, very true. Now that we are getting a new QB, it's time to get a new and capable OC (Unless somehow the offense suddenly turns amazing).

Were they going to go 14-2 with Sam! 16-0? The Rams haven't accomplished anything since their last playoff appearance other than a ton of high first round draft picks. What have I missed the last 10 years? I understand hoping they win 10 games. But it's not remotely likely to happen. Hill is no Warner. None of our receivers are Bruce or Holt quality and none of our running backs are of Faulk or Jackson quality. Our defensive line is better than those playoff teams but that's about it. 6 wins tops.

When the Rams get off to a 3-0 start, defeating Minnesota, Tampa and Dallas (I'll be at 2 of those 3 games), those who think I'm crazy will start thinking "Hmmmmmm.... maybe Avenger was right. Man, there's going to be no living with him now."

I really hope this is right. Even though we lost Bradford, to this point in his career he hasn't been much better than Shaun Hill, so the dropoff compared to the previous years isn't huge. This year Bradford looked superb and I honestly believe he was going to be amazing but that's irrelevant now.

Shaun is still a good QB. Now we also have some capable WR's as well as a good offensive line and good stable of RB's. Plus, our defense is still terrific. If we can stick together, and have some guys step up, I truly believe we can still make the playoffs.

The ***** look horrible and I think they'll fall off big time this year. The Cards are no better than us. The Hawks are the clear favourite and will win the division again, but the remaining teams will fight for a Wild Card spot.

I am prone to agree with you as Shaun Hill has been a starter before, maybe not in this system, but he's no stranger to what he's going to see. I also think our defense is strong to keep games close so we can adjust the offense with running and short passes, sometimes we'll break the long one too. I think this will strengthen the team's determination so don't feel sorry for us NFL, we're going to punch you in the face, believe it.

I hope I'm not just making myself feel better, but I think we can get this done. Maybe Sam can get back for the playoffs? HaHaHa.

    Go Rams!

The Rams just have to climb that Hill and enjoy the view from the top.

The Rams should beat the Vikings and Bucs even if Doogie Houser is their QB!

What an opportunity for Hill to climb this mountain, at this point in his career.

I hope Hill will be prepared. The Rams will indeed rally around him.

    So sorry about Bradford. Arrrrgh!
