After claiming I would temporarily step away from watching Rams games until the product becomes better, I held true to my word. HOWEVER, I did catch some peaks on the NFL Red Zone channel, saw frequent highlights and have faithfully read the forum and newspapers all week. I did not run out and buy a ***** jersey- as apparently many feared I would- nor did I burn all my Rams stuff.

I will say that there were some rays of hope- The O-line, ability to move the ball offensively, Bulger's relief stint, etc. In that regard, it was a much better output than last week's disaster. That said, no one should be celebrating a 28 point loss or be satisfied with yet another "good effort" game. The self-destruction in the red zone was almost comical. How a team can consistently shoot itself in the foot as it has all season is beyond me.

Jackson, Fells, Avery, Boller, Bulger, (and I'm sure I'm missing a few) should be forced to walk around all week holding a football. It's thoroughly ridiculous how many fumbles and picks have killed us at the most inopportune times. And while penalties happen to all teams, we show an appalling lack of discipline when it comes to the number of infractions we commit each game- a HUGE concern.

I certainly hope Steve Spagnuolo is taking these guys to task behind the scenes- because it doesn't appear he is roasting these guys publicly.

Bulger? He came off the bench cold, not completely healthy and went 7/7 for 88 yards and a TD, with zero INT's and zero fumbles.

i blame the boller/sjax fumbles more on boller than anything, and he won't be in there anymore. fells is young and should have gone down after that catch..it would have been remarkable if he was able to continue back-peddling into the endzone there and all, but you never want to get hit hard from behind like that, that's when the ball comes out and you saw what happened. hopefully this will improve, if we keep the penalties down as well we have a good chance this week against a mediocre team that got shut out 41-0 by seattle yesterday.

Yep, don't back peddle into the endzone, Avery did that in Washington and Fells did it last night... Turnovers are definitely killing this team, imagine if we didn't have those 2 fumbles.. Outcome would have been different.
