If kris jenkins was in this draft....
I find this line of thought interesting. What number would jenkins go if he was in this draft?
Who would you rather have branch or jenkins? Jenkins has some questions, so does branch. Branch has not been to the pro bowl. Jenkins is not on his last legs presumably at age 27. Branch's crap out value is probably as great as jenkins injury risk and branch, like any other player has injury risk as well.
Put it another way, if you could draft jenkins at 13, how in the world could you pass him by if you are trying to win now? Okoye may be a lot better in the long run, but he sure wont be this year.
Thus, i think this talk of a #3 is nonsense. I am now prepared to give up a #2 to get jenkins IF management believes he is healthy and in decent shape. I am willing to trade klop and a pick, but i cant figure out what round yet.
To me, this is a risk worth taking. We will never get as good a shot as jenkins in terms of a proven player who is still at a reasonable age in a perfect position of need, especially without having to pay a 15 million signing bonus.

Re: If kris jenkins was in this draft....
What i meant was that you have to draft him now at his current age with his current contract and current injury issues.

Almost as dodgy as the recent influx of Australian Thirtysomething punter rookies...

Of course I would. He's a PROVEN PRO BOWL PLAYER. LAST YEAR.
Geez, I'm extremely grateful that some of you aren't anywhere near Rams Park at all. Peroid.
