If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
Okay, last week "turnovers" was the big winner, and proved to be the big difference in the game. This week, I'll give some different choices.
Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
Aren't the whiners missing two of their starting O-linemen with Larry Allen being one of them? If the D can get after Alex early and often, I see no reason why turnovers can't be the edge two weeks in a row. Out of the choices offered I'll vote for sacks as they often lead to turnovers ...

Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
I agree with M.R. i love turnovers, but as not listed i voted red zone and i think its a battle we will win this time round!
Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
We will win the Red Zone battle but don't have to. Sacks as MAUIRAM stated will be the difference.
Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
I agree with MauiRam and laram0, sacks will weigh heavily in this game, and I think Little has to be salivating in anticipation of this weekend....
Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
come on if we cant get in the inzone we suck bad
Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
Well then with that logic we reallly sucked against Denver (a team that went 13-3 last year). We didn't get into the ENDzone once ... so we really out-sucked them right??

Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
everything listed above will be important factors of course...but i believe it will be the field position battle by the special teams that will determine the grounds for both our offense and defense play calling...
Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
You CANNOT compare SJ with Gore, it's like comparing great #28 MF with trung candidate!!!
Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
I say turnovers like has been said, their revamped line won't hold up against the Blizes that will be thrown at it!! Our Line should get their sacks... I bet Little can't wait....I think we will get a huge push up the middle from Glover as well....

Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
A good case could be made for most of the choices. I chose rushing yards. If we can hold Gore to a low YPC (especially early to bring down their morale) and dare Smith to beat us through the air, the Whiners will be in big trouble. I think our defense will eat him alive with relentless pressure from all sides - this all leading to turnovers. If we in turn hold on to the ball and Steven Jackson pounds his way downfield, we'll be on our way to a solid win.
Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
They know their line is in bad shape and are probably preparing for the blitz package...They've got their work cut out for them so, Our D will be the key again.PRESSURE, PRESSURE, PRESSURE. If our offense shows up big, it'll be a wash
Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
I agree the D line will have a huge impact. However, do not be surprise if we see alot of WR and RB screens and some roll outs.....
If the Rams D can stay honest and hold these plays to small gains then it will be open season on Smith....
Go Rams
Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
Bulger will have more passing yards than Smith, and a few TD's as well.
Re: If the Rams win this battle (vs. San Fran) they'll win the war
Its going to come down to turnovers again. If the Rams keep it mistake free and keep the penalties down, we walk this.
