    If...When???

    Will Linehan be fired this year? Its early I know. But I have never liked him so I'm going to say this anyway. Cast your vote for when you will think he gets fired.

    I voted "won't get fired", I hope I'm wrong though. It just seems like the FO has a lot of confidence in Linehan, so right now I think he gets the "usual" 3 years to turn it around. If I was in charge I'd probably fire him in the postseason the way things are going.

    He wont be fired... At the end of the season he will throw Olsen to the wolves (perhaps rightfully so) and will be givin a stay of execution.

    The team is in shambles and I don't know if they "believe" in Linehan anymore....I think he will get canned, if the Rams are smart, in the offseason.

    He wont get canned this year. If you think so it's because your mind is clouded with anger and shame, but once you come to your senses you realize that a coach wont get cut after 2 seasons.

    I'll second that. If anybody pays the price, I think it'll be Olsen. I STILL believe once we get some guys back, things will get a lot better.

    I say end of Season '08. Got to have a sacrificial lamb first() that will be Olsen; then spend all of '08 on the hot seat. Hold on, Olsen is a friend isn't he? Now lets see if loyalty and friendship come before having a job

    Aparently from what I've read in the press from "inside sources" there's no way LInehan is going to get canned this year and he'll for sure coach next year, to even think otherwise is ludicrous to these sources.

    Kind of the wrong mentality to have IMO, but no matter what we think or hope, I would bet money that Linehan will be here for next season.
