If you could have any Rams player forever...Who would it be?

If you could have a player from the Rams and have him play forever year in and year out in his prime...Who would you want and why?

I would probably go for Jack Youngblood, #85. Just a monster who never stopped and would show all the young players motivation to play hard for the Rams' D.

However, I think Faulk would be a no-brainer, and that is who most of you would pick.

I would go with either Deacon Jones or Dick "Night Train" Lane. Boy, could you imagine the pass rush we'd have if we had Youngblood, Night Train AND Jones at the same time?

THis is a good question, but its really just asking who was the greatest player in the history of the franchise, and that my friends, is marshall faulk, the only ram in history who at any given time (99-01) was the best player regardless of position in the entire nfl. Youngblood, olsen and deacon jones are great choices, but not as good as faulk.

Deacon, hands down. Marshall was great & was a main factor in bringing home the hardware for our beloved Rams, but Deacon Jones just flat out intimidated players & destroyed anyone in the backfield & this is the attitude I want to see again.

Eric Dickerson (1983/1984 model)

or

Marshall Faulk (1999-2001 model)

Marshall Faulk in his prime, the greatest Ram of all time, no question about it. That's my choice.

If I had to pick a player for this question and I can't pick Faulk then Deacon Jones would be my choice.
