Re: If you ran into Craig Dahl on the streets of St. Louis...
I hope I'm catching the point here & not derailing by saying I'd loooove to see someone walk up to Steven Jackson & tell him he dances too much in the backfield.
Or tell Laurinaitis that he's soft at the point of attack.
Or tell Jenkins he can't tackle....actually that one's true. He tackles like a girl...an angry armless girl but still a girl.He really does need to be told.
I'm sure there are more.....
If you ran into Craig Dahl on the streets of St. Louis...
Met his mom in London, amongst many other family members where we sat, so we were very diplomatic in our shouting!

I can hear it now....
"Dahl, you suck! You're freaking horrible! I want you to die! ........ Umm...die...dye...dye your shirt a different color....because it's starting to fade a little, and your mother wouldn't like that. Yea, your mother, who is a wonderful person and did a great job of raising you would want you to dye your shirt.":D

I would get his autograph, and then ask him if i could take a picture with him. Then I would not wash my hands for a week. I would put the picture on my wall and go to sleep staring at it. Oh Craig, you are ON the Rams so I love you so much. Anyone who can make the 53 man roster on my beloved Rams is worthy of me wanting your autograph. I would tell him how much I support him and I would tell him about all those other posters on my favorite Rams board who don't love him and support him. I would tell him that I spend hours upon hours of my life on the board declaring my love for the Rams.

Have you seen a pic of this guy? I'd probably pretend to pass out so he'd give me mouth to mouth....

I would ask him what he thought about this thread and see if he had the same opinion i did about it.

Maybe, maybe not.
But none of us get paid hundreds of thousands to play, so we get a pass.
Chances are I wouldn't even recognize him, but if I did, I'd probably ask him when was Darian Stewart coming back.

Ouch! That is harsh ... but yes, very funny! :D

I'd probably ask him just what is it that he does for a living....
Re: If you ran into Craig Dahl on the streets of St. Louis...

Its true. Rockin was a 5 star recruit leaving highschool, and a potential first round pick come draft time. Unfortunately he decided to take the investment banker route :D

I should not be allowed to vote. I really did meet the guy in ST Louis. He shook my hand and said thanks’ for coming to the game, then he signed my sons Steven Jackson jersey. Great guy and one of the reasons we are 7-7-1. So if you didn’t make the Rams 53 man roster……

I think some people missed the point of this thread.
Re: If you ran into Craig Dahl on the streets of St. Louis...
In 2007 while he was on the Giants I saw Dahl at a movie theater in Albany, NY(where I live). The previous week he had one of the worst preseason games you will ever see where he was his usual pathetic self and got beat for long TD's on about 4 consecutive drives. After this game I tried to get his autograph at Giants training camp because his terrible play was truly remarkable and I thought it would take a miracle for him to remain on the team or in the NFL for another week. He was clearly embarrassed by his newfound and unwanted celebrity though and ignored my autograph request.
The next day me and my friends got drunk and went to go see Superbad at the local mall. After the movie we saw Craig Dahl leaving the theater and proceded to yell at him from a distance(because we didn't want to get beat up by a professional athlete) what we thought of his play on the field. He heard us, flipped us off and proceded with his day because chasing down a bunch of dumb high schoolers probably wouldn't have helped his chances of making the team.
So depending on my level of sobriety my answer to this is that I would either ignore him or yell something mean from a safe distance.
