In all seriousness though, I don't think it made a difference whether or not we had 14 or 13 points, however, it didn't necessarily mean much to have 15 either. I think, like what Fisher said, that they were just trying to put as many points on the board as possible. Either way, they essentially needed two touchdowns to win the game (or at least tie it). Unfortunately, that never came to fruition so I don't know how relevant the 2 point conversion is. To me, it just showed Fisher as being aggressive on offense.
My first thought was that Fisher was trying to amp up the confidence level and momentum of the team.
It was a diversion tactic used to take our focus away from all the bigger coaching blunders. Too bad for them it did not work!!
